Geo Thermal Heating and Cooling

They have started on the geo thermal heating and cooling.

They dug a huge race track in the back yard. 

These pictures are of the pipes they laid in the ground that will have the water pumping through them.

This is what it looks like coming in the basement.

Those pipes come all the way across the basement ceiling and hook up to these massive machines.

Slowly but surely we are getting things done!

Rock Wall

This is the first of some house videos that I plan on making.

 I hope you enjoy it!

The pictures that I have taken of this wall does not do it justus.

I am imaging all sorts of fun times out here.

Since I am not a very good photographer, I decided to make a video so you can see how massive this wall is.

I never realized how often I say "Awesome".

Massive Rock Wall

Yes, we are still working on the new house!!

We are working on some landscaping and ground work so all the water from rain or snow goes away from the house instead of toward the house.

This is a massive stone wall.

It is at the walk out from our basement.

It takes some heavy machinery to get these rocks lifted and put in place.

This is the finished project.

I am in love with it!!

Now we need to get the other side done!!

Big Rocks for the Retaining Wall

We are getting ready to put in a huge rock wall before the winter weather hits.

Here is a load of big rock that Will (our rock man) is going to use.

Madison is trying to act like she is picking up Shafer. But it is not working very well!

This is where the rocks are going.

Street to House Plumbing

We are getting stuff done around here for the new house.

Here are some pictures of the plumbing going in.

This is our line hooked up to the city's meter.

Dig, Dig, Dig!  

We are putting a bathroom in the barn, so we now have water and sewer hooked up to the barn . 

 

 This is our connection to the new house.

And I have water to the garden!!!

No more lugging the three water hoses to the garden spot!

Yay!!

 

 Aren't the tress getting beautiful!?

 Big Ran has the sump pump in.

  

 Tonight they are starting on the big rock wall down by the basement walkout.

Breaking Ground

IT’S ON!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I have news on the house progress

We have “broke ground“!

Digging is this week and concrete next week.

This is very exciting for us

.

I intend to blog every single detail of this whole process.

  Maybe it will help someone who is getting ready to remodel or build a house.

  I am really hoping that we can get some pointers from all my blog friends out there on what not to do from their experiences.

  That would be awesome!!

 

Now it’s time to celebrate.

Break open the bubbly!
