Gray and Yellow Bedding Love

I “love” this headboard!

Dana from  house*tweaking made this from recycled wood that has a greyish tone to it.

Then she painted “love” in yellow.

My favorite combo right now!

 Isn’t is awesome?

A little primitive and very up to date! 

I love that ruffly yellow pillow too!

Inspiration Houses

There are several homes that are out there on other blogs that are very inspirational to me.

Here is one of my very favorites.
This is part of Serena's new home from www.thefarmchicks.com.

Her laundry/mudroom is fantastic.

  

This is her pantry.

With adjustable shelves, no less.

The back wall and opposite side wall are much deeper, so they work well for storing extra serving dishes, glassware, small appliances,

and the bulk foods.

And the door is not too shabby either!

This kitchen is so light and airy.

I love it.

I love the ceiling, the farmhouse sink, the quartz countertop, the white subway tile, and much more.

I think the lighting is very cool.

Then there is a built-in downdraft fan, behind the cook top. 

There is not anything that she hasn't planned out.

  

It has a cutting board built in and you can scrape the scraps straight into the compost bin below. 

Genius!

Central vac.  Need I say more!

Loads of cabinets!!

Our Front Door - July

Happy Independence Day!!

Window Shipment is Here

Now we are getting somewhere!!

The windows and the front door have arrived. 

We ordered them from Lansing Building Products, they were the only company that had the transom that I wanted for the front door.
And I must tell you, it is awesome.

There are triple windows, double windows with transoms, and I think every window is a different size.

Some of these windows are very heavy.

But don't worry, I was out there to supervise!

Before long they will be installed and you will be the first to know!
